March Break: Triple Threat Camp
Join us for an unforgettable week of singing, dancing, and acting at our spring break musical theatre camp. Designed for students of all skill levels, this program teaches the elements of musical theatre. Students will work in small groups to learn scenes, songs, and dances from popular musicals. The week will culminate in a showcase performance for families to watch. Students will gain skills and have fun learning to perform and express themselves on stage.
Our camp will feature lessons for two age groups:
Shooting stars - students in grades 2-5
Super novas - students in grades 6-8
Singing:
- Learn songs from the most popular Broadway musicals
- Study with Adam Horrocks, a professional rock singer and vocal coach
- Understand singing technique and breathwork
Dancing:
- Learn choreography from award winning dancer and choreographer Haruka Kyoguchi
- Practice professional sequences, made easy for beginners
Acting:
- Study scenes with Academy drama instructor and professional actor and director Kate Martin
- Play one of your favourite characters
- Build ensemble and work together to tell a story and have fun!
Schedule:
- Students will work with each instructor for two hours each day, plus an hour for lunch and some fresh air!
- Camps will culminate in a final showcase on Friday for parents, loved ones, and other guests
