Elementary Drama will introduce the fundamentals of theatre in a fun and creative environment. Students will gain confidence and self-expression through stage presence: they will learn to speak clearly and authentically, to communicate through their actions and physicality, and to trust their own creative instincts. This program explores questions like, “What makes a good story?” and “How can we create characters different from ourselves?” We will dive into various theatre genres, encouraging playful experimentation within them. Drama games will build collaboration (and silliness), while dedicated scene work will strengthen the students’ understanding and confidence with text. Spectacular, dramatic adventure awaits!
