The Feldenkrais Method for Musicians

Nov 24, 2025 | Dec 1, 2025
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

No matter what instrument you play, creating music involves your entire body, and how
you move is critical to successful performance and effective, injury-free practice.
Relaxed, organized and elegant movement produces flowing, expressive sound. The
Feldenkrais Method TM teaches you how to move optimally with the least amount effort
necessary. Feldenkrais ® has been used by musical titans including Yehudi Menuhin,
Richard Goode, Yo-Yo Ma and Wynton Marsalis, and taught at many elite music
programs including the Juilliard School and the Berkeley College of Music.
Feldenkrais ® lessons consist of slow, gentle and intriguing movement sequences that
create a palpable feeling of greater physical ease, heightened focus, and elevated
mood. They are suitable for every level of physical fitness.

Come join Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner ® and amateur pianist Robin Roger,
