- Talk regarding the difference between expression in classical versus romantic piano repertoire
- 2 master class players performing classical OR romantic repertoire

Michael Berkovsky – Russian Piano Music
- Talk regarding the birth of Russian piano music
- 2 master class players performing Russian music (or other “nationalistic” or “romantic” music)

Stéphan Sylvestre – Debussy’s Concept of Piano Sound
- An exploration of Debussy’s concept of sound at the piano
- 2 master class players performing Debussy or other impressionist repertoire
Thursday, July 13 - 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Michael Berkovsky – “My Favourite Things”
- Talk and demo regarding some little known gems of the piano repertoire
- 2 master class players performing their own favourite gems
Who Should Join
Performers: Advanced adult pianists with a passion for piano, playing at level of RCM Grade 10 or higher
Auditors: Enthusiastic adult pianists

Cost
For the series of 4 classes: $240, plus a supplement for a player of $60 per playing opportunity. OR on a per class basis: $65 per class, plus a supplement for a player of $70.

Auditors can sign up directly by emailing the Academy Administrator at info@avenueroadmusic.com. People wishing to sign up as Performers should check with Kathleen Penny by email first (Kathleen.penny@outlook.com) before emailing the Academy Administrator. Upon successful registration, you will receive an invoice from our office. Please make an e-transfer to: enrolment@avenueroadmusic.com.
