Geniuses (re)Discovered: Mozart, Debussy, Georges Enescu
Experience the sonic imagination of some of the greatest geniuses of Classical music. The program opens with one of the most well-known piano sonatas by the most recognized prodigy, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and closes with a rarely performed masterpiece by who Pablo Casals called “the greatest musical phenomenon since Mozart”, Georges Enescu. Sound paintings by Debussy refresh our pallets and bridge between the two sonatas.
